Greece 2
Grandmaster BK wins the prize for best response to the news that I'm in greece, with his
Pan-Hellenic pickup lines:
- Excuse me, is this where they keep the urns?
- (Pointing to stylishly torn jeans on another
person): Euripides?
- (Slowly spinning, with arms held majestically aloft
in a public square): Wow, Ancient Rome is really
magnificient!
the sister and i are having a fantastic time, involving octopi, volcanoes, and a looooot of olive oil. pictures when i get home. lots of amazing, post-card pictures when i get home. :D
ps. we are in the islands, not on the mainland where people keep dying in wildfires. no fire here, just a lot of smoke on the horizon - which makes for interesting sunsets. servus!
